We have many loons each summer at our cabin on Eagle's Nest Lake #1 in northeastern Minnesota, but not often do we have successful hatches of loon chicks. As the sun dropped near the horizon on this July evening, a proud parent with her two offspring seem to enjoy the last of the warm rays.
