Formerly owned by Litton Industries Great Lakes Fleet, the 1000' M/V Presque Isle enters the Ship Canal in Duluth, MN with a load of limestone / dolomite. The vessel, a tug/barge combination, is traveling to the Missabe Docks where it will not only unload it's present cargo but will also load a cargo of taconite pellets at the same dock. The landing mallards are a common sight in the harbor area.
